UCC27324: testing VOH

Part Number: UCC27324

Hi team,

Customer has some questions

The device with UCC27324D model has a power supply voltage range of 4.5-15V. When testing VOH, 10mA is required. When the power supply voltage is 4.5V, the VOH value is lower than the lower limit. When the power supply voltage is 15V, 10mA is used to test that the VOH value is normal. Is this abnormal? Under 4.5V power supply during factory test, does the VOH index with 10mA load meet the manual requirements?

Could you help?

Thanks & Regards,

Jiahui

  • Hi Jiahui,

    This is expected, see here:

The conditions specify for VOH that this is at 14V. Because of the hybrid pullup structure, the DC pullup resistance will be higher with higher VDD, so this is the worst case. For VDD = 4.5V, the NPN can help more and the resistance will be lower.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Alex M.
