Hi team,
The customer used TPS652353 setting ISET to 110kohm for 1A current limit. And hiccup ON time set to 58 ms and OFF time set to 466 ms.
But they found the abnormal protection function and it will be damaged sometimes. Please find the waveforms below.
If they set ISET to 324kohm for 450mA, the protection is normal.
If they use TPS65235-1 setting ISET to 110kohm for 1A current limit. Hiccup ON time set to 8 ms and OFF time set to 256 ms.
The protection is normal which means only TPS652353 has the problem in same condition.
My questions are:
1. Do you have any idea about the abnormal protection of TPS652353?
2. Do you know the seasons for TPS652353 that can't handle the condition?
3. What's different between TPS652353 and TPS652351?
4. There are different ISET resistor in Application Schematic for DiSEqc2.x Support in the datasheets. Is it the limitation that TPS652353 can't support 1A current limit.
