Hi,
I have TPS628660DYCGR with switching frequency of 1.1MHz instead of 2.4MHz in the TPS628660AYCGR/ TPS628660BYCGR
If I use the "D" version do I have to use some other inductor ? what is the recommendation for the D version ?
Thanks

Hello Adam,
Thank you for reaching out. Since the switching frequency of TPS628660DYCGR is 1.1 MHz, you should select a 0.47 uH inductor.

Thanks Moheddin,
so as I thought it behaves according to the formulas in the datasheet of A/B types
Is there a way that the 0.24uH inductor will work too? (If the actual output current consumed is less than 6A for example?)
Hello Adam,
The maximum output current is used to calculate the maximum current rating of the inductor to be selected. which is defined in the first equation.
For calculating the inductor value, you need to use second equation. which depends upon the switching frequency.
I would recommend selecting 0.47 uH inductor.
Thank you,

Moheddin.
