LM25575: buck-boost converter

Hello team,

I received a question from the customer.

I designed a buck-boost converter using Webench, is it OK to connect the VCC pin to -12V, I am aware that the VCC pin is an internal power supply made from VIN, is this a problem?

It's ok to connect Cvcc like this ,since the -12V is connected to GND pin.

Hi Gui,

Can you tell me why -12V can be applied to the VCC and SS pins?

If VIN is 24V, VCC would be 7V, what happens when -12V is applied?

Hi Masakazu

The 7V VCC voltage is defined as the voltage from 'the VCC pin' to 'the silicon GND pin'. There is no '-12V' applied to VCC.
