TPS55010: Want to know the size of transformer.

Hello TI experts,

My customer wants to isolate power lines, 5V/10mA.

and they want to minimum size for PCB.

I think that TPS55010 is the best part for them, but I cannot expect the size of transformer, even WEBENCH does not tell the size it transformer.

could you expect the size of the transformer under the condition below?

Input : 5V

output : 5V, 10mA.

Thank you for reaching out.

The transformer model no. is given the datasheet and based upon that you can check the size of transformer.

However, I understand your concern to reduce the size of the transformer based upon your application specification as you mentioned.

Input: 5V

output: 5V, 10mA.

But you need to consider the saturation current of the transformer as well. For example, since your load current is only 10mA and if you want to choose a small size transformer with less saturation current, then there will be risk during the over current protection.
