Hi team,

My customer has an application that will need to change the charging current based on different status of their system.

Does charging current of this device change immediately after changing Riset value?

If not able to do it in this way, could you please guide us how to achieve it? Thank you.

Is this story same as BQ24232H and BQ24078?

    Hi Oliver,

    Yes, if you are able to change the resistance at the ISET pin, then current will change immediately. This is the same for the BQ24078 as well. If the customer also has a host device such as a microcontroller in their system, they can look to use the BQ25180, an I2C refresh of the BQ2407x family that can charge from 5 mA to 1000 mA, is I2C configurable, and has low Iq modes.
