UCD9081: USB to GPIO(2)

Hi expert,

Customer used UCD9081 and when they want to evaluate with UCD9xxx GUI, we found out the part can only work with USB to GPIO but not USB to GPIO2. Originally I applied USB to GPIO2 to customer due to shortage of USB to GPIO. Could you please clarify if it's true UCD9081 can only work with  USB to GPIO? What are the differences between USB to GPIO and USB to GPIO2?

    Hello Allan,

    The USB to GPIO2, is it configured correctly? Typically, out of the box the ALERT/CLOCK/DATA are configured as Open-Drain. These should be configured to 2kOhm. Please let me know if there are any further issues.

    Hi, Allan,

    Currently, UCD8081 GUI only works with USB-to-GPIO, not USB-to-GPIO2. We will discuss with team to see if we will support USB-to-GPIO2 in UCD9081 GUI.
