LM36274: Active discharge

Hi team,

In LM36274 there is an function called active discharge. I want to know its behavior when it is enabled. When the device switches to shutdown mode, will this function enable for a long time? Or it is just used in switching period.

    Hi Peter,

    If active discharge enabled, when bias disabled, the output capacitors of VPOS and VNEG can discharge through the internal resistors.

    If active discharge disabled, when bias disabled, the output capacitors will have a longer time to slowly discharge through output load which is usually larger than internal resistors.
