Hi,

 We want to update parameters on our legacy battery packs that are installed in a device in the field.  We have OS update capability and can communicate with the FG via onboard CPU through I2C ports.  Are there any instructions on how we can do this via a F/W update?

    Hello Harry,

    The BQ27542-G1 is not designed to be updated in the field because of safety reasons.

    From a technical perspective, parameters can always be updated using the commands to update data memory as specified in the TRM. If you want to update the golden image, then you can create a FS file from bqStudio and use that to program the BQ27542-G1
