TPS54061-Q1: Clarifications about compensation loop equations

Hi Expert,

We need you help to give the clarification on the datasheet.

In "8.2.1.2.8 Closing the Loop" section of the datasheet, could you please clarify what Rc and R4 stand for? I'm a bit confused with the notation.

Hello

I believe that Rc and R4 are the same. The Rcomp in series with Ccomp.

Are you sure?

So it would mean if Rc=R4=Rcomp, the following equation 25:

would be like C6=Co which is Cpole=Cout?? I'm not really sure... correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello

Sorry for the confusion. Rc is the ESR of the output capacitor.

R4 is the compensation resistor in series with the compensation capacitor.
