Hi Team,

Thanks for support 

We face issue of battery charging when supply off then on. 

We have set all para meter as per data sheet guidance. First set value through EV2300/2400 SMB connector which mention in datasheet.

 

we have to set parameter as per your guideline 

Caes1 :- Adapter I/P -12 V supply ON  = O/P supply system  - 12V & battery also charger  (it's worked)

Case2:- Adapter supply I/P OFF then ON = O/P supply system -12V but battery are not charged (means all para meter which didn't store. if we want to charging battery and get output it's possible).

BQ24735 is programable or not ? and is there data are store which we have write from EV2400 ?.

    Hello Chirag,

    The BQ24735 only has programmable registers, so the settings will not be saved when the IC is powered off. If the adapter is removed, but the battery is still on, the IC will retain some settings such as the ChargeOption register, but ChargeCurrent() and ChargeVoltage() will be reset to 0. These need to be set whenever an adapter is plugged in, and resent periodically to avoid watchdog timer timeout. If the IC completely loses power (no adapter and low battery) the registers will go back to default POR settings when it is powered up again.
