TPS22915: Alternative for FPF1008

Part Number: TPS22915

Hi,

Can we use TPS22915B in place of FPF1008 load switch, 

FPF1008 is P-Channel Whereas TPS22915 is N-Channel, will it be any functional difference between two?

Please let me know,

also suggest any other load switch with similar characteristics of FPF1008, if any

    Hello Kavitha, 

    The only significant different between p-channel and n-channel load switches is typically p-channel FETs have a lower quiescent current and n-channel load switches typically are capable of a lower Ron. 

    The FPF1008 load switch appears to have significant ESD protection (above 8000 V HBM and 2000 V CDM); is this required?
