My customer is developing a restraint control system (upto ASIL D), they are looking for a TI squib driver vs NXP’s MC33797. I found the TPIC71004-Q1 which can work, but it is a 2011 device and I am afraid it can go EoL in the coming years. Any newer device in the roadmap ?
If not, any competition analysis to share for TPIC71004-Q1 vs MC33797 ?
