Hi, Support Team

There are some questions for TPS254900-Q1 as below:

Since there is no down device for connect to TPS254900-Q1 5V output in out design.

Q1: Want to know how to deal with pin:12 BIAS? 5.1Kohm pull-up resistor & 2.2uF capacitor still necessary?

Q2: Want to know how to deal with pin:1 IMON/pin:19 ILIM_LO/pin:20 ILIM_HI?

Q3: Is it required for DP/DM signal pull-down with 10K or 15K ohm resistor?

Q4: Want to know how to deal with pin:6 CS if not used?

    Hi Lawrence,

    Good questions.

    Below are my comments:

    1: Yes, this pin is used for IEC protection, so please keep them.

    2: The MON is a current source, so please don't float it, please add a 2.55Kohm in this pin. For the pin:19 ILIM_LO/pin:20 ILIM_HI, these both pins are used to set the current limit, so you can short to GND to set maximum current limit.

    3: It depends on whether the host side have this resistors, if not, please add them.

    4:Just floating it.
