TPS53015: TPS53015 - Reference design for 10A output current

Part Number: TPS53015

Hi,

We have designed a board using TPS53015 synchronous buck controller. Could you please confirm whether the same circuit can work for 10A load current? As I can't share my design in public forum, please provide the contact email to share.

Regards,

Natesan S

  • Hi Natesan,

You can move to a lower current, if you have designed the circuit for a higher load current. The design may not be optimized for the lower current, but the device will operate safely.

If you previously designed the circuit for a current less than 10A, then a review needs to be done to ensure that the device and its components are configured for a new, higher current.

What was your circuit designed for (VIN, VOUT, IOUT, FSW)? You can reach out to me over the E2E private messenger to share the schematic files.

    Best regards,

    Britton
