LM2672: P2P alternative for part with supply issues

Hi to all,

I have a question regarding the LM2672MX-ADJ/NOPB.

As there are supply issues with this part and with all fixed voltage derivates!!

Is there a possible P2P replacement from TI?

I found several parts which are similar but not p2p. (LMR54410, LMR33610,TLVM13620 )

Functions might differ in case of frequency and Input/Output voltage range but P2P is absolutely mandatory !

Hello Alex,

LM22672 is pin to pin. It operates at higher frequency than LM2672, so some adjustment to the inductor and output capacitor will make sense.

The other parts you mentioned are also good candidates, but not pin to pin as you noticed.

The TLVM13620 is a new power module and would be a great way to transition from LM2672 to a more modern part with design simplicity, good performance, board savings and great overall solution cost. I would recommend the module.

The availability situation is hard to predict. Perhaps going to a module solution can help you get parts.
