Hi,

I have a problem with TPS61253/61259 boost converter.

I was using this IC for about two years without any problem. Last time I ordered new batch of the TPS61259, installed int working design and discovered that once I disable (turn off) system it continue transfer some voltage 1.6-2.0V. I ordered TPS61253A, same as used before but got same result. converter does not going to shut down.

Any help will be highly appreciated

Could you share your schematic? Besides the chip, do you have any design changes this time compared with your old design in the past two years.

Hi Nathan,

Thank you for response. Schematic of the boost as recommended. No schematic and no layout was changed in the area of the boost.

what is changed - batch of product. Long time I used parts from the first batch purchased about 2 years ago. And now bought new one.

Sorry, I found my own mistake - outer circuit was shorting battery to 5V.

Issue resolved.
