UCC28C56H: CCM vs DCM transformer design

HI TI,

Can this IC be used by either a low or high inductance transformer and it will select itself whether to operate in CCM or in DCM? We are selecting a transformer and dont know what mode to go for. CCM has advantages but will it work just fine in DCM as well?

    Hi,

    DCM or CCM depending on the inductance design along with operating conditions. Please refer to the datasheet section 9.2.2.3 to understand how to operate in DCM or CCM.

    This device ok to be operate in DCM or CCM.
