UC1825: UC1825 Unencrypted TINA-TI Transient Spice Model

I'm using Cadence Allegro Design Entry CIS 17.4 for PSPICE simulations.

I downloaded the UC1825 Unencrypted TINA-TI Transient Spice Model.

I receive the following errors when i attempt to run pspice simulation:

Reading and checking circuit

ERROR(ORPSIM-16362): Name on .ENDS does not match .SUBCKT

ERROR(ORPSIM-15461): Incorrect number of interface nodes for X_U53.XU8.XU5.

ERROR(ORPSIM-15461): Incorrect number of interface nodes for X_U53.XU1.XU1.

Circuit has errors ... run aborted

See output file for details

INFO(ORPROBE-3188): Simulation aborted

I do not understand where the errors are in the library file.

Please help.

Hi,

It sounds you use the Tina Spice model to simulate it in CIS 17.4. If so, the errors should be from the model not adaptive to CIS 17.4, i.e., Tina model may need some conversion. There are some materials on line to show general steps how to such as this below. Since there is TI Tina available to simulate TI Tina model I suggest you use the TI Tina software for your simulation since the conversion may not be always simple and easy and there is no dedicated support.

If you still want to use CIS 17.4, you may follow the above YouTube steps to see if you cat through. If not, I still suggest you to use TI Tina as there are not good support for conversion.
