Hi team,

I have two questions about single-end use.

1. The data sheet requires to connect a local bypass capacitor, but where does this capacitor connect?

2. VSNS- and AGND are connected in the shortest trace.

　Can they connect both to the common GND pattern, or should they be wired separately from the common GND?

– For single-end sensing, connect the higher FB resistor to a high-frequency local bypass capacitor of
0.1-μF or higher, and short VSNS– to AGND with shortest trace.

Hello,

1- the decoupling cap is the COUT 0.1uF. If you look at the user guide SCH it is referring to C13 or pad.

2- Use a net-tie to connect AGND pin with a solid PGND plane at a single point. see below. For SNS- pin connected is to AGND at closest point, I know. they are in the opposite side of the package. you can use VIAS to connect to inner layer and then come out to AGND. Just make sure the the trace is far from noisy traces.
