TPS2399 Operating Temperature query

Hi TI Team,

According to the customer requirement the operating temperature range of our project is -40 °C to 105 °C. We are using TPS2399DGK part in our design having Recommended Operating Junction temperature : 85°C and Absolute Maximum Junction Temperature : 125°C. Can we proceed with the same temperature rated part or This part need to be changed with similar alternate with higher Temperature rating. Kindly response ASAP , we are in the end of gerber release.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Operating junction temperature range, TJ is −55 ºC to 125 °C. This range is within your requirements. You can use this device.

What is the difference between recommended operating junction temperature and absolute maximum rating- Operating junction temperature.

Which operating junction temperature we need to conider to check whether the part meets the product requirement.

Hi Mari,

Sorry for my mistake. The recommended operating junction temperature range for this device is −40 °C to 85 °C. Please use LM5067 or LM5068 as per your requirement.
