  • Hi Wei,

    The guaranteed peak current limit of TPS61040 is 350mA. So when the Iout exceeds around 200mA in a 5V to 8V application, the inductor current has been limited already.

    That means no enough input power be delivered to the Vout. As the Iload increases further, the Vout will be pulled down lower.
