BQ24800: May I use BQ24800 to replace BQ24725A?

We want to change better LT items for our products.

We found BQ24800 which functions are similar with BQ24725A.

Do you have some simple guide line to compare with that two items?

We want Assess the feasibility on this replacement.

Please help to provide your recommendations.

    Hi Statham,

    BQ24800 has the same architecture as BQ24725A but newer.

    Unfortunately we don't have a detailed selection guide - Overall the 2 ICs are very similar from a system perspective so you can use BQ24800 in the same system as BQ24725A. BQ24800 has more features such as battery only boost mode and two level input current DPM.
