TPS61196: TPS61196 dynamic adjust MAX current

Hi 

Our product need to support to adjust LCM MAX brightness for different condition(indoor or outdoor).

For example,the brightness of LCM is 1000nits at outdoor and 800nits at indoor.

Could TPS61196 support dynamic adjust MAX current?

Any HW workaround for this requiement.

    Hi Edgar,

    I don't think TPS61196 can support such needs since its MAX current is set with external resistor.

    Dose your EE has an MCU to communicate with I2C interface? I think this requirement can be achieved with those LED drivers which can set their MAX current with registers.
