Is it acceptable to open the SNS pin of TPS1HB08 if the diagnostic function is not used?
What are the concerns with leaving the SNS pin open?
Like the SEL1 pin, does reverse battery protection not work if the SNS pin is left open?
I have built the circuit as typical application, but if the diagnostic function isn't used, I would like to remove Rsns and Rprot and Csns.

Hi Takahiro-san,
Please do not leave the SNS pin floating. This will lead to a floating output pin that is not recommended for the device.
Please follow the datasheet recommendation of grounding the pin via a 1kOhm resistor if it is not used. This is a BOM requirement for the device.

Why is open of SNS pin not recommended?
What will happen when SNS pin is open?
I checked the pin FMA, but didn't see any impact other than not being able to use the diagnostic function.
