Equation of junction temperatures is Tj = Tc + (ψJT x Power).
Tc = Surface temperature of bq24171' case
ψJT= 0.4 ℃/W
I have a question about "Power".
The bq24171 is switching, how should I calculate the power ?

Hi Shinji,
Power is power loss in the IC. Input power = Pin = VCC*Input current. Output power = Pout = battery voltage*charge current. Pin - Pout = Ploss.
