can anybody pin-point the protocol differences between<br>

i have a working software-implementation for theTLC5947 and would like to port it to the TLC5955...

any hints are welcome ;-)

Hi Stefan,

Yes, both devices are based on shift register, so it will be easy to transfer the code from TLC5947 version to TLC 5955 version.

i know that both are shift registers -
so i had a closer look at the functional block diagrams:
TLC5955

TLC5947

the basics are similar...
but the TLC5955 has a lot more going on -
so its not as easy as i hoped to port...
