TPS7B68-Q1: watchdog

Part Number: TPS7B68-Q1

hi,

here I have two questions for TPS7B6833-Q1' s watchdog:

1. in below pic, is the OW, CW written in backwards? since I think OW is time slot for watchdog feeding, right?

2. How long is the FLT time in below pic? is it "watchdog output resetting time"?

thank you

  • Hi Yuan,

They are labeled correctly. The way that the WD signal works is that once the WD is asserted high, the window then switches to a closed window, so the <twd/2 means that the WD service signal was applied before a full twd/2 had passed which starts the window for closed operation. when no signal is provided in twd/2 OW fault 2 is the result showing that it does not transition to CW but to a FLT condition.

yes the fault length is roughly proportional to the WD window duration.

    Regards,
