LM5036: Zero duty issue in light load

Part Number: LM5036

Hi team

Customer is using LM5036 in 500W power module, 18~36VDC in, but we found an issue when shut down with no load.

Yellow is VOUT, Pink is SR, Green is SSSR.

We suppose that it's due to zero duty operation, when in no load, you can see that SSSR is clamped to zero. When the VIN drops, the VOUT also starts to drop, which brings higher duty, then SSSR start to charge. It can cause the reverse current so you can see that the VOUT drop quickly. At last duty increases and make VOUT increase for a short while.

We checked with customer, the board is so compact and it's hard to add COUT, now Cout is 100uF. Do you have any insights about this issue?
