I am searching for a small LiPo charger that operates at 4.35 V, requires minimal components, and includes reverse current blocking functionality. While considering the bq2423xx as an option due to its ability to meet these criteria, I noted that it is relatively larger and more complex than what I am looking for. Despite reviewing the datasheet, I could not find clear information about reverse current blocking, aside from an image of a Powerpath MOSFET.
I am nut sure if this is enough to tell me it will block the reverse currents or not.
