The datasheet says the input is TTL and CMOS compatible, but does not mention if there is an internal pulldown or pullup. Can it be left unconnected?

Hello Steve, the enable pin should be connected to the driving signal controlling the on/off function of the switch or connected to GND if intending to keep the switch "always on" so not recommended to leave unconnected. In the case it is driven by a logic signal, no pull-up/down is needed if that logic signal is always a valid logic high or logic low threshold. If there is a chance however that it could be floating or disabled it may be desirable to pull the /EN pin up in order to assure the switch is off. Let me know if this is unclear.
