TPS2H000-Q1: Can you please check the TPS2H000-Q1 effected

Part Number: TPS2H000-Q1
# CASE 1
-. PWM output X
-. Vs = 24V
-. Can you please check the TPS2H000-Q1 effected when OUT = 24V, 32V, 48V short

# CASE 2
-. PWM output O
-. Vs = 24V
-. Can you please check the TPS2H000-Q1 effected when OUT = 24V, 26V, 32V, 48V Short

  • Hi John,

The Abs max rating for this device is 45V. There is no inherent reverse current protection in these devices. Therefore a short to higher voltages can cause unregulated reverse current flow which is not supported. The customer must use a blocking diode on the input or the output to avoid such situations and this would eliminate the need of the GND network.

The CL is set to a typical of 510mA. This is acceptable but please note that during a fault, the CS pin can be pulled to VCSH which can be as high at 6.5V.

We also recommend using the following components for the best EMC performance:

Please note that IC_GND and system_GND are the same node IF no GND network is used.

    Thanks,

    Shreyas
