Dears,

Regarding TPS53622, when modifying the firmware of TPS53622 with an input voltage range of 5V, it was found that VIN-ON and VIN_ UV values are not very friendly, VIN_ ON does not have a 5.0V modification option, but it has 5.25 but is not suitable for working environments with 5V input, and can only be set to 4V.

Hi,

Is 5V the max VIn that your customer support?

VIN_ON < VIN_UV is ok as long as controller is not turn on under this case.

Hi Yihe,

Customer need the board working on 5Vin, which means the Vin_on need to be set to 4V. However the minimum Vin_uv is 4.25V, preventing the board start. The minimum voltage of Vin_on and Vin_ uv selectable in GUI doesn't make sense. Could you help to comment how customer can work the device on 5Vin?

As said, I did not see why the setting block your customer working at 5V.

The UV is gated by two case: threshold and unit is enabled.

As long as VR is not enabled until VIN is > 4.25V. there is no issue.

You can leverage the TON_DELAY if needed.

Normarlly the UV threshould is below turn on voltage, does this mean the device could work as long as Vin>4.25V?
