Dear TI team,
I have been using this chip on a design. But there is a problem. The chip outputs 200mA instead of the expected 800mA.
The Qi charging chip is connected to a battery charger, which charges the battery with 800mA and 3.8V. The Qi charger outputs the expected voltage (5V), but the current seems lower than expected (expected 800mA instead of 200mA). in the picture shown below the schematic is shown of the chip in question. I used the design from the schematics of the devboard: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sluua44a/sluua44a.pdf?ts=1685024787935&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F.
As for the design, this is what the chip looks like on the PCB:
the qi charging functionality works, i am currently using a IKEA standard charger which outputs 1A and 5V:https://www.ikea.com/nl/nl/p/livboj-draadloze-oplader-zwart-40447051/ . The charger is working properly, it has been tested using a phone application (got up too 900mA). so that leaves the question is there something wrong with the design or schematic? If this is not the case it could be the coil: https://eu.mouser.com/datasheet/2/445/760308101411-3096794.pdf
