TPS3840-Q1: Hysteresis from VDD pin

Hello team,

Previously we were using TPS3803/3808 devices which had a separate sense pin and manual hysteresis was added from Sense to Reset Pin.

In TPS3840-Q1, since the sense will be done through VDD pin itself, will the addition of external hysteresis from VDD to Reset pin cause any issue?

Hi Mayur,

Thank you for your question. Are you able to share a the schematic that you would want to implement. Typically, as long as the device hysteresis is factored into your equation and schematic properly, it will not cause an issue.

The schematic looks fine and should work with the TPS3840 as well.
