I checked with customer that they see proper device from competitor that is ET7429  http://www.etek.com.cn/en/product.asp?id=337 

. They use it to protect DP/DM pins. 

I use cross reference design and find there is TMUX1027. But spec also not match customer's requirement,

There is one more requirement on DP/DM channel turn on time, which is us. But TPD4S311A is 1.5ms typical and seems no pin to control the output. 

Please kindly help recommend which one is suitable.  Thanks. 

This is for a type C port, yes? Or are they using micro-USB?

Are you needing short-to-vbus protection for the D+/D- lines? If so, why? Because the TPD4S311 is a suitable solution for Type-C OVP protection, but it protects the SBU and CC lines from short-to-Vbus due to their proximity to Vbus in the Type-C connector.

Hi Conner, 

They use type-C. And they need short-to-Vbus protection, because they found D+/D- lines are damaged due to short to CC pin, CC pin already short to Vbus, then it's equal to D+/D- short to Vbus. so they want to add OVP protector on D+/D-. 

other vendors recommend ET7429 for this. although they do not need 2:1 Multiplexer function, the OVP spec seems OK.  It's better just 1:1.
