Hi Gareth,

Please see my review comments below,

1. Leave the thermal PAD / RTN pin floating. Connecting it to GND will disable reverse polalrity protection.

2. For Input TVS use SMBJ33CA to pass Automotive tests such as ISO7637-2 and ISO16750-2. For more understanding on TVS selection, please refer to section. '11.2 TVS Selection for 12-V Battery Systems' of datasheet.

Remaining schematic looks good to me.

Hi Praveen GD

Leave the thermal PAD / RTN pin floating. Connecting it to GND will disable reverse polalrity protection.

done , schematic updated. Leave thermal pad NC.

The location of the IC and surrounding parts is in the area indicated by the frame line of my map. Thanks.

Hi Gareth,

It is difficult to review the layout if it is shared as pdf and also without silkscreen. We can review the layout if you can share the CAD source files in Altium or Allegro. If not possible, customer can self-review the schematics using the layout guidelines below.

LM5060-Q1 or LM74910-Q1 can be used instead of LTC4356.
