TPS65910: Inrush current control

Hi,

In the datasheet, there is inrush specification in LDO characteristics table.

Does it mean that when TPS65910 is designed with AM3354, each LDO show those inrush current at start-up?

Is there any solution to reduce inrush current? ex)load switch or external circuits

    Hi,

    The inrush current in the datasheet for the LDOs just have the typical value. So yes, each LDO is expected to have approximately this current at startup. Reducing output capacitance would reduce inrush current but reduce stability and response. Adding input capacitance can help to reduce the ripple seen on the supply if this is an issue.
