UCD9081: Confirm address pin set up

I have confus about why add set 0 by PU & PD. Is there some reason for not use only PD?

Hi Ti Team,

The second question is related ADDR1/EN8. Refer the datasheet, is it means that address1 set up= 1, or by our schematic?

Please help us to review our design for this, 0x63 is it correct about I2C address? Thanks

The address of UCD9081 is determined by ADDR1-4 pins. whether they are pull low or high gives your total 16 options.

0000 -> 0x60

1111->0x6F.

You have to let the ADDR1-4 at desired state to get the correct address.

I'm sorry for that my description. I mean that why the appliction in datasheet show address 0 by the PU & PD, not only use the PD.

As said, ADDR1 can be high or low to select different address.

As explained, you have 4 ADDR pins with total 16 options to get you 0x60-0x6F.

Please explain what you mean since i do not get your question.
