LMR14010A: soft start time or etc

Part Number: LMR14010A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMR54406
I am looking for an IC with a 5V power supply that takes a short time from the time the voltage is input until the output voltage rises.
The DC/DC converter with soft start 4msTYP is currently used.
When I looked at your company's website, I found LMR14010ADDC and LMR54406 as candidates.
Regarding the LMR54406, there was a description that the soft start is 1.8 ms TYP in section 7.6 of the data sheet.
There was no description about LMR14010ADDC.
If it is slower than the current 4ms, there is no point in getting a sample and evaluating it.
I would like to know in advance.
Could you please advise me?
Also, with LMR14010ADDC and LMR54406 pin compatibility,
Do you have an IC that starts up faster?
I would be grateful if you could let me know if any information is missing.
  • Hi Kota

5V is your output voltage, right? What is your Vin range? What is the load?

The soft start time (tss) of LMR54406 is not  specified in datasheet, but seen from the Figure8. Start up waveform, the tss should be around 0.8ms.

    Since LMR54406 is non-sync, I would recommend LMR54406.

I don't have other candidate which is pin compatibility with LMR54406/10 but with smaller tss.

    Thanks
