LP8866-Q1: Can we use Clock frequency of 50KHz to increase the Rise and Fall Time requirement of 300nS to 1000nS

My question is more technical, if you see the previous related question there are more details about I2C Fast/Normal Mode which all depends on the clock frequency of operation according with NXP I2C standard.

our intention is to use a frequency of 50KHz to increase the rise time requirement from 300nSec to 1000nSec.
The datasheet from TI doesn't have any mention about the IC can operate over those conditions that's why we are looking for your confirmation.

What I understand is that you want to confirm that if device can work when the rise time is higher than 300ns.

From our side, the datasheet said maximum value of rise time is 300ns, your requirement is out of spec. Pls follow the datasheet.

Hello, Could you please elaborate more your answer? so the IC from Texas Ins. is not designed to meet with I2C standard?
I can't not understand why lowering the I2C Clock will impact an IC that should be meeting I2C International standards.

LP8864S is developed to follow the fast mode of I2C. We don't test it in standard I2C mode.

For the low frequency of I2C clock, if it still follow the rise time, it can also work.
