LM2853: If NC pin doesn't tie to GND.

What kind of problems will occur if the NC terminal is not connected to GND?

    Hi,

    As per the d/s, NC pins must be connected to GND. It is highly recommended to follow the d/s instructions. The performance of the buck converter cannot be guaranteed if the d/s recommendations are not followed. 

    LM2853 is a very old device and I strongly suggest to look into our newer buck converters which are better in performance as well as in capacity. Let us know if you need further help to choose the right part.
