Could you please confirm if the LP8556SQ-E08/NOPB (WQFN) supports either I2C or PWM control?

In the device sections of the datasheet, it says PWM only, however in pin descriptions, there are I2C pins.

As the previous thread mentioned, LP8556SQ-E08/NOPB (WQFN) can support both I2C and PWM.

And may I know which customer is considering this device and their EE as well?

Hi Patrick,

thanks. why does the DS suggests PWM for non I2C systems and the pinout has SDA/SCL?

is there a different pinout for each the PWM and the I2C? if not, how is it configured?

Customer is Edwards Lifescience.

Hi Rez,

The different versions are trimmed for those customers who don't want digital interface to program the register, between different version there is no difference of the pinout.
