BQ25306: Charging terminate at 8.02 v instead of 8.4v

I am using bq25306 for charging a 7.4v battery. I have set the charging voltage to 8.4v .Resistor combination as per datasheet like 1.33M and 200k.

But the ic terminate the charging at 8.02v . The charging current I have set is 2.7Amp.Battery is 7.4v7500 mAh.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out via E2E. I do not observe this same behavior when testing charge termination on the BQ25306EVM with charge voltage set to 8.4V. Do you have the BAT pin connected closely to your battery terminal and are you measuring battery voltage at the same place where BAT pin is connected?

Hello Garrett,

Please find the attached PCB layout, Yes we have been measuring the voltage at Vbat pin which is connected with the battery terminal. We have tried with changing the resistor value but still the problem is stand.
