my customer would like to check the PWM_FSET's setting is correct as result that they have tested the OUT pin as below picture test point.
and get the result as below scope waveform:
min brightness:
max brightness:
we set dimming mode at Hyber mode. At max brightness. the mode should be like current mode that don't have frequency. at min brightness, the frequency should be same as 19531Hz as we set 124kohms at PWM_FSET. but the result is around ~116kHz. the value of result seems have 6 times as target frequency.
When we change PWM_FSET to 4.75kohm that the frequency should be same as 305Hz as we set. but the result is around ~1.8kHz. the value of result also have 6 times as target frequency.
Is our testing method correct? if it is correct, Is it possible to relate with number of outputs? or do you have any recommendation to test PWM_FSET's setting.
