LM5118: AC coupling external clock to sync pin

Hello,

Can the LM5118 internal oscillator be synchronized to an external clock by AC coupling a positive edge to the SYNC pin (as is necessary for the LM5116)?

Hi Stephen,

the LM5118 has a different sync circuit then the LM116 which allows do synchronize multiple LM5118 to the one with the highest frequency.

Therefore the AC coupling would not work.
