TPS564247: Reliability of IC over complete temperature range

I am using the TPS564247 for our application.

Usually the IC junction temperature is well below the limit but In worst case conditions the thermal junction temperature of the IC can raise upto 124deg celcius.

Does operatig the IC with 124 deg juction temperature for prolonged times affect the relaibility or lifetime?

As per the datasheet the recommended operating junction temperature is 125deg.

Hi Deepak,

Absolute Maximum operating junction temperature range, TJ is -40 ~ 150℃. Recommended operating junction temperature,TJ is -40 ~ 125℃.If used outside the Recommended but within the Absolute Maximum , the device may not be fully functional, and this may affect device reliability, functionality, performance, and shorten the device lifetime.
