ucc27200 driver

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC27200

I need to know if this parfticular driver,, the TI ucc27200 hi/lo driver, can be used in a circuit with the upper MOSFET connections tied to the high side of the supply voltage source and without a hi-side MOSFET being connected.

This would effectively make it act as a low-side driver, but would not interfer with another voltage level source, in this case a  higher than supply voltage level source; being connected to the load, which in my case is a high Q resonant tank circuit.

A  tank circuit cycles/operates at it's resonant frequency by having a higher that supply voltage level connected to it on the high side and it's ground connection cycled on  and off via a low side MOSFET driven connection at the resonant frequency and duty cycle needed.

The two power levels have to have a common ground connection; and the ucc27200 fulfils my power level requirements.

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated,
