Hey Juhani,
The TPS7H1101A-SP would not be able to tolerate that negative voltage even when disabled.
Thanks,
Daniel
Thanks for the reply. However, would need more specific information. We have a satellite project ongoing and this question is related to the fault tolerance. Will this regulator somehow tolerate and not short if you put -3.3V to its output? Would destroy the whole instrument. Secondly, is the simulation model usable for these exceptional cases? We could then use it and design safety features. Thanks again. Juhani
Hey Juhnai,
The TPS7H1101A-SP will not tolerate having -3.3 V on its output.
This could break the part.
The model does not handle this situation.
Thanks,
Daniel
Ok. I have read the specs. The -3-3V would be a leakage situation. But ok, no is no. Thanks again. Closed.
