i use TUSB1064 for Type-C to DP&USB in my new project.

1. The input of TUSB1064 from Notebook Type-C，TUSB1064 is configured as USB3.1+2 Lane DP.

2. The DP output of TUSB1064 is connected to DP receiver IC.

my issue is when PCBA connect display, DP output works fine, but computer cannot enumerate USB devices successfully. i remove display, computer can enumerate USB devices successfully.

It seems that there is a conflict between DP and USB.

Hi,

Can you please probe TUSB1064 FLIP, CTL0, and CTL1 pins?

CTL0 needs to be set to '0' and CTL1 needs to be set to '1' for USB3.1 + 2 Lane DP.

Can you change FLIP pin between '0' and '1' and see if USB works?

TUSB1064 is configured as “USB3.1+2Lane DP” Mode.

when i connect monitor, Notebook can't Identify the device(USB3014)

when i remove monitor,Notebook can Identify the device(USB3014)

typeC socket stays still.

Do you have a PD controller for this design that is controlling the TUSB1064 FLIP, CTL0, and CTL1 pins?

hi David，

yes, i have a PD controller in my design, communicate with Notebook via CC.

FLIP,CTL0 and CTL1 is configured as CTL1=1,CTL0=1,FLIP=0 by pull up or pull down resistor, in not controlling by PD controller.

Hi,

The FLIP, CTL0, and CTL1 need be to controlled by the PD controller. In your PD controller, did you set multi-function support to be yes?
